Introduction to Dynamics NAV

Before explaining about Dynamics NAV, allow me to explain what is an ERP.

ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. An ERP system integrates various functional areas including manufacturing, supply chain management, accounting, customer relationships management, service operations, human and other resource management and others. Integrating various application together, ERP system provides login once, use across internal and external many areas with strong information processing tool-set.


Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an ERP, it integrates set of business applications together designed to service a wide variety of business operations. Dynamics NAV is modular in design, which simplifies implementation, upgrading, modification, integration with third-party products and expansion for different types of clients. All the modules in the system share a common database and wherever applicable, common data.


Microsoft Dynamics NAV gives the freedom to focus on business growth, through automation and integration of a company's core business to help focus on effectiveness & simplified success.


Dynamics NAV ERP includes the following:
